About
I'm Aviv Springer, a New York-based artist and recent graduate from Lafayette College, where I earned a BA in Studio Art. My practice spans painting, printmaking, and digital media, with a deep focus on the intersections between traditional techniques and contemporary technologies.
My work engages with themes of social and commercial media, exploring how images circulate, gain value, and become exclusive. Through both analog and digital processes, I investigate the aesthetics and infrastructures that shape visual culture today.
At Lafayette, I worked closely with the Experimental Printmaking Institute, supporting visiting artists on a range of collaborative projects. I also maintained the studio, organized tools and materials, and ran its Instagram presence, blending hands-on experience with digital outreach.
Beyond the studio, I’ve contributed to editorial and commercial photography teams, notably as a photo production assistant at Forbes, where I supported creative direction, built treatments, and helped execute large-scale shoots. I’ve also held roles in galleries such as Hal Bromm Gallery, where I assisted with digital asset management, web updates, and exhibition logistics.
Feel free to reach out via email if you'd like to connect, collaborate, or learn more about my work.
